On January 12, 2007 Interbeton Construction Materials S.A., subsidiary of Titan Cement Co, S.A., completed the acquisition of ready-mix concrete producer Betotechniki, based in Thessaloniki.
Betotechniki owns two production units of ready-mix concrete in the area of Thessaloniki, in Thermi and Hortiatis and has annual sales of over 120.000 m3.Turnover for 2005 amounted to € 6.4m.
This acquisition will not materially affect Titan Group financial statements.
Titan Group, owns and operates 28 ready-mix concrete units in Greece in the areas of Thessaloniki (6), Chalkidiki (1), Kozani (1), Magnesia (1), Fthiotida (1), Attiki (6), Corinth (2), Achaia (3), Hleia (2), Zakynthos (1), Dodecanese (4, of which 2 in Rhodes and 2 in Kos) and has annual sales of over 2.4 m m3.
