As part of the educational initiatives, TITAN welcomed the young ROBONERDS, the winning team in the Panhellenic Robotics and Innovation FIRST® LEGO® League Championship, at an interactive two-day training event at the TITAN Efkarpia plant in Thessaloniki.
The training event included a full programme of informational meetings, interactive exercises, as well as guided tours around the premises. The goal was for the young students to understand how everything they envision and design in the field of robotics applies to real conditions and the production process of a factory. In this framework, the Efkarpia plant team set up a simulation exercise where the children took the lead so that they could understand the importance of automation in a modern factory. Through this process students had the opportunity to see all the steps required to resolve a malfunction: from obtaining information, to evaluating and understanding it, all the way to its repair.
The Greek Championship is organised by the Non-Profit Organisation “Action for Education – EduAct” and TITAN will support, as Gold Sponsor, all the actions that will be implemented in the period 2021-2022 by the NGO, especially embracing the Panhellenic Robotics and Innovation Competition FIRST® LEGO® League.
